No transfer slips to chase. Payment happens in the chat.

On WhatsApp or in website chat, the payment link arrives in the same conversation, carrying the cart's total. Nobody waits for a transfer slip, and nobody matches amounts by hand.

Example: sending an IBAN, waiting for a transfer slip and checking the amount by hand are struck through; in their place a payment link for order #1042, TRY 7,400.00, arrives and is paid at 09:41.

Two ways to take one payment.

The same order can be paid two ways. The difference is the number of steps.

By IBAN

  1. The IBAN is sent.
  2. The customer switches to their banking app.
  3. A transfer slip comes back.
  4. The amount is matched by hand.
  5. The order is typed up again.

By link

  1. The cart is built in the conversation.
  2. The link arrives in the same conversation.
  3. The customer pays.
  4. Confirmation and the record follow in the same conversation.

Now, or this evening.

If the customer pays straight away, confirmation follows straight away. If they say "this evening", the cart and the link wait in the conversation, and if payment doesn't come, the order is followed up.

Example. Business: an olive oil producer. Customer: a restaurant. Product names, prices, times and numbers are illustrative.

  1. Customer: Hi, is the new harvest in? We need 5-litre tins for the kitchen.

    10:42

  2. Business: Hello, it is. There are two options for kitchen use:
    • Early harvest extra virgin, 5 L tinTRY 1,850.00
    • Extra virgin, 5 L tinTRY 1,450.00

    10:42

  3. Customer: How long does delivery to Istanbul take?

    10:44

  4. Business: Orders placed before 15:00 go out the same day. Delivery to Istanbul usually takes 1 to 2 working days.

    10:44

  5. Customer: Four tins of the early harvest, please.

    10:46

  6. Business: Your cart is ready: 4 × early harvest 5 L, TRY 7,400.00 in total. Delivery is free. Confirm and the payment link comes straight here.

    10:46

  7. Customer: Confirmed.

Step 4 of 6

What's inside the link?

The link message needs no explanation: what is being paid for, for which order and how much is written on it.

  • Amount

The cart's total, the same figure the customer saw in the conversation.

  • Order number

Ties the payment to the order, so nobody matches a transfer slip to an order by hand.

  • Cart lines

Which products and quantities the link is for, written on the message itself.

  • Return

Once payment lands, the confirmation comes back to the same conversation.

Trust, itemised.

Where the link goes, what amount it carries and what takes the payment.

The same conversation
The link goes only to that order's conversation, once the cart is complete.
The same amount
The amount on the link is the total of the cart the customer saw in the conversation.
Payment infrastructure
SilverCheckout is not a payment processor. Which infrastructure takes the payment is decided on the discovery call.
KVKK
Questions about personal data are on the discovery call's agenda. The SilverOps privacy notice (KVKK)

Two questions about payment.

  • How is payment taken inside the chat?

Once the cart is complete, a payment link carrying its total and the order number arrives in the same conversation, and the customer pays through that link.

    The full answer

  • Why are IBAN transfers and transfer slips risky?

With an IBAN transfer the amount and the sender are matched by hand, and a transfer slip alone doesn't show the money has arrived.

A conversation instead of a transfer slip.

The call covers how your payment step works today; which infrastructure the link runs on is decided with you.
